MSc Ann Bogaerts 

(ORCID: 0000-0003-3435-2605) (MSc Biology 1996 Ghent University). Scientific manager and head of the herbarium of Meise Botanic Garden, the 15th largest herbarium worldwide. She is responsible for the maintenance, development, conservation and accessibility of the herbarium, which consists of 4 million collection items. She supervises a staff of 19 employees. She is closely involved in different national and international projects such as the mass digitisation projects “Digitale Ontsluiting Erfgoedcollecties”, Synthesys +, DiSSCo Flanders and DiSSCo prepare.
